Kitty in the Purse
A Poem
Kitty in the Purse
The Cheetah in her purse
Is looking worse and worse;
It cries and begs for love,
But gets a pair of gloves.
It wants a little touch,
Gets cracked by the nail brush;
It wants a midday snack,
Gets caught up in the clasp.
The Cheetah's feeling sick
Cause it ate a lipstick,
Its tongue is Flirty Red,
It likely will be dead.
The kitty needs to purr,
But only speaks in slurs;
Offending where it goes,
And switching friends to foes.
It's hanging on for life,
With claws like a fishwife,
Holding out for the day,
Cheetah can't be put away.
